Anna Emelia Keefer

Anna Emelia Keefer (Ann), age 97 of Maple Glen, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Artman Lutheran Home in Ambler, Pennsylvania.

Anna was born in Philadelphia, PA to Bernhard Peter Stolzer and Emelia Stolzer on June 12, 1927. She went to school in Philadelphia and graduated from Frankford High School in 1945. She married John William Keefer on June 15, 1946. She was active in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and the Church. She enjoyed the outdoors - especially camping and gardening her own fresh vegetables and watching the flowers bloom. She also enjoyed reading and learning about history and doing crossword puzzles. 

Anna is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Keefer. She is survived by her son, John and daughter, Nancy (husband- Mark), her grandchildren; Robert Addis (Wife- Mary), William Addis (wife- Suzanne), Carolyn Swisher (husband- Michael), and James Addis; her great-grandchildren, Samantha Addis, Emily Addis, Robert Addis, Jr., Payton Addis, Logan Addis, Hailey Swisher, and Declan Swisher.

A viewing will be held on Thursday April 24, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home, 145 Tennis Ave, Ambler, PA 19002 with Rev. Keith Anderson officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Masonic Home, Wounded Warriors, or the USO. 

The family would like to thank the nurses, aides, and therapists at the Artman Lutheran Home for their loving care and kindness to Anna during her stay there.
