Arline Jacobsen of Blue Bell, formerly of Fort Washington and Glendale, New York, died on July 31, 2017. She was 81. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Albina and Joseph Kren. She was married for 50 years to the late Philip Jacobsen, and was the loving companion of Thomas Wilcox for the past seven years. Mrs. Jacobsen graduated from Bishop McDonnell Memorial High School and attended St. John's University in Queens, New York. In addition to raising four daughters, she worked for the Upper Dublin School District and then sold real estate for over 30 years before retiring in 2008. She is survived by Tom Wilcox; sister Betty Joan Wallace of California; daughters Laurie Jacobsen and Susan Pankratz of Maryland, Patti Noneman of North Carolina and Amy Jacobsen of California; son-in-law Jeff Pankratz; and grandchildren Sarah, Jessica, and Rebecca Pankratz and Matt, Alex and Brett Noneman. A funeral service was held August 5th at St. Helena Church of Blue Bell.
