Barbara Fretz McCammon

Barbara F. McCammon of Worcester, formerly of Spring House and Fort Washington, passed on January 14, 2017 at the age of 76. Barbara was the daughter of the late Robert D and Elizabeth Fretz. She was married to Robert F. McCammon for 52 years. She was mother to Sandra Hetzel (Erik) of Paoli and Diane McCammon of Wayne, and is also survived by two grandsons Will and Sean and a sister Nancy Seidel of Ocean City. Barbara attended Wilson College and worked several years for a local radio station. While raising a family, she volunteered for several organizations through school and church and had a long-term association with the American Red Cross. Later she enjoyed bridge, golf and winters in St. Simons Island, GA. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 20 at 11 am at First Presbyterian Church of Ambler (Butler and Ridge Avenues, Ambler, PA). The family will greet relatives and friends in the church's Fellowship Hall beginning at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Ambler, Memorial Fund, 4 S. Ridge Avenue, Ambler PA 19002.
