Bertha Manson Groves

Bertha Manson Groves, peacefully, on July 26, 2016, at Spring House Estates, Lower Gwynedd, PA, age 86. Bertha was born and raised in Newburyport, Massachusetts by parents Clarence and Ethel (Schrempf) Manson, and since 1961 was a resident of Montgomery County, PA. Bertha was for decades an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ambler, an avid quilter, and always a supportive and loving friend. Predeceased by beloved husband William (Bill) and brothers Arthur, Alfred, and Donald Manson of Newburyport and Wiscasset, ME, and son-in-law Thomas Kelly. Survived by her children Marsha, William (Maureen Fitzgerald), Thomas (Carol Worthen), and Stephen (Therese Govern), six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and her cherished sister Judi Manson Decie (Bill Decie) of Amesbury, MA. The family is deeply grateful for the loving kindness she received first at Gwynedd Estates and especially at Spring House Estates Willowbrooke Court. Private memorial to take place in Newburyport, MA.
