Carolyn M. Wittrock, age 94, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2021 at the Lutheran Community at Telford. She was the daughter of the late William and Ida Miller of Glenside, PA and loving wife of the late Harry F. Wittrock.
Carolyn attended Cheltenham High School and graduated magna cum laude from Beaver College (Now Arcadia University) in 1948. She taught science for the North Penn School District for over 20 years and was a dedicated member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ambler, where she sang in the choir. In addition to her love for all types of music, both she and her husband had a special place in their hearts for animals and even traveled to Africa to view some of their favorites while on safari.
Carolyn is survived by her children: Gail Rendell (George), Robert (Catherine), Judith Pilgren (Eric), and Patricia Uhrich (Daniel), as well as her grandchildren: Jeffrey Rendell (Catherine), Gregory Rendell, Ingrid Pilgren (Krystle), Eric Pilgren, and Sonja Uhrich. She is also survived by six great grandchildren. All of her family is so grateful for the loving care she received at the Lutheran Community.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. As a memorial to Carolyn, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
