Charles "Pete" Cressman of Ambler, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on December 29, 2017 at the age of 87. He was born in Norristown PA on March 15, 1930 and was husband of the late Patricia Cressman.
Pete was a backhoe operator and foreman for Silvestera's of Ambler, while also managing operations at Plymouth Meeting Mall. He enjoyed farming. In his later years he supplied many locals with fresh produce and plants and was a man who worked every day of his life.
He is survived by his three daughters Catherine "Missy" Phillips (Joseph) of Lower Gwynedd, PA, Bernice Cressman of Ambler, PA, and Tricia Cressman of Gwynedd Valley, PA. Also surviving are 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren with one on the way, and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home, 145 Tennis Ave, Ambler PA 19002 on Wednesday January 3, 2018 at 11am. Family and friends may call from 10am to 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
