Cynthia Hartsock

Cynthia "Cindy" Hartsock (nee Hubbard) died on February 21, 2017 at Grandview Hospital after a 14-month illness at the age of 67. She was born in Philadelphia on June 29, 1949 Daughter of the late Mervin Hubbard and Marie Hubbard (Oberholtzer) and the Beloved Companion to Mike Steel. Cindy Graduated from North Penn High and attended Lansdale School of Business and was employed as a Business Manager for the Ambler Area YMCA for 38 years. She was Predeceased by her only child Adam Hartsock and is survived by Grandsons Donovan Hartsock of Ambler, Pa. and Gavin Hartsock of Lansdale, Pa. A funeral service will be held at St. John's United Church of Christ, 500 West Main Street, Lansdale, Pa. 19446 on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 10:00 am. Family and friends may call after 9am. Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Cemetery. To honor Cindy's memory donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Cindy was a loving woman with a true zest for life and incredible positive outlook. She was truly devoted to the loves of her life her companion of 21 years Mike, her beloved and only son Adam, Grandsons Donovan and Gavin, and dogs Mason and Zachary. While Cindy had a small extended family, she was loved and cared for by many friends and her large YMCA family.
