Dr. Lindsey J. Robinson, longtime resident of Ambler, passed away on May 6, 2015 at Abington Hospice in Warminster at the age of 56 following a long illness. Daughter of Jean O. Robinson and (the late) Donald W. Robinson, Lindsey was born in Minneapolis, MN and moved to Ambler as a child. Dr. Robinson was a respected Clinical Neuropsychologist employed by Liberty Health Group of Langhorne, PA for many years, assessing and treating adults and seniors with a variety of neurological conditions. She earned her master's and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from Purdue University, completed postdoctoral fellowship training in neuropsychology at the University of Pennsylvania, and was board certified in clinical neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. She received her undergraduate degree from Temple University. Lindsey was an active member and volunteer of the First Presbyterian Church of Ambler. She sang alto with The Choristers, a Philadelphia-area choral group, and served on their Board of Directors since 2000. She was also an avid cyclist, hiker, and member of the Appalachian Mountain Club. She is survived by John O'Hara, her husband of 19 years, her mother Jean, her sister Carol Wolf of Hawthorne, NJ, and her cousin Kris Kroner of Ambler, PA. A memorial service will be held on May 16th, 2015 at 10:30am at First Presbyterian Church of Ambler, 4 S. Ridge Ave. Ambler, PA 19002. A reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Deacon's Fund of the First Presbyterian Church of Ambler.
