Edward Eugene Cahill

Edward Eugene Cahill of Ambler passed away on September 16, 2019. Edward was born April 19, 1934 son of the late Francis and Mary Jane Cahill of Ambler. He was the beloved husband of Marie Bernadette Cahill white whom they shared 63 years of marriage. He married Marie B. Capella on April 14 ^th , 1956. They had three sons Edward Francis, Stephen Michael and Michael Patrick. Edward worked at the A&P for 31 years until it closed. He then worked at the Horsham Clinic for over 25 years in the Maintenance Department. Edward served in the United States Army in the Korean War. In addition to his wife, Edward is survived by his two sons Stephen (Mary) and Michael, and preceded in death by his one son Edward Francis. His two grandchildren Stephen Michael, Jr. (Rachel), Laura Marie (Chris) and eight great grandchildren; Ethan Michael, Carter Stephen, Ava Marie, Kayla Rose, Jayden Devon, Cash, Piper Rae and Christopher George. He is also survived by his brother James (Lillian) Cahill of East Norriton, nieces Kathy and Jolynn and nephew Ricky.

There will be a funeral mass at St Joseph RC Church, 16 S Spring Garden St, Ambler PA at 10AM on Friday September 20, 2019. Friends and family may call at the church after 9AM. Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
