Evelyn Irene Kitzelman

Evelyn Irene (Brierley) Kitzelman, age 97, of Harleysville formerly of Ambler, passed away on December 4th, 2021. Evelyn was born in Philadelphia to the late Clifton and Helen Brierley on January 31st, 1924. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Stanley B. Kitzelman, Jr. who passed away March 12th, 2013.

She graduated from Frankford High School and Drexel Institute of Technology. Her hobbies were painting, needlepoint and gardening.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Leslie Walker of Harleysville, PA, 3 Grandchildren, Kelly Heatherman (Dennis) of Factoryville, PA, Robert Hegedus (Christine Chabala) of Collegeville, PA and Colin Hegedus (Carli) of Scranton, PA and 8 Great-Grandchildren, and her God-daughter Beverly (Maurice) Smith of Akron, Ohio and her Godson Richard Moore (Kay) of Charlotte, NC as well as her cousin Helen Forbes of Orlando, FL.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Stanley and her daughter Pamela Hegedus.

A memorial service will be held on January 8th, 2022 at Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Family and friends may call beginning at 2:00 p.m until the time of the service. Interment is private at a later date.
