Joseph P. Cassidy Jr

We would like to announce that Pat Cassidy, who was 74 years of age, passed away peacefully in his home in Ambler, Pennsylvania on May the 7th 2021.

Pat was born at 10:20 pm on May 30th, 1946 at Chestnut Hill Hospital to Ida and Joe Cassidy. He studied at Spring Garden institute majoring in automotive repair and proceeded to work in the field for 40 plus years, mostly for Ford Motor Company in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania. He was a loving father, a loyal friend, and a good Catholic that knew the value of hard work. We will all miss him dearly may he rest in peace.

He is survived by his wife Barbra Ann Cassidy, his children, Hope lynn Neely and Jp Cassidy, his son in-law Curt Neely, and the three lovely grandchildren, Megan Cassidy Duda, Grace Kathleen Neely, and Abigail Eve Neely.

The funeral service will be held at Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home on the morning of Wednesday, May 12th from 10am to 11am. We will then escort Pat to Boehm’s United Church of Christ to lay him to rest next to his parents Ida and Joe Cassidy.

We want to thank everyone for celebrating Pat on his day of remembrance.
