Joyce Marie Norris

Joyce Marie Norris, of Spring House and formerly of Royersford, passed away peacefully at Silver Stream Nursing Center on June 27, 2023 at the age of 69.

Joyce was born in Abington, PA on October 17, 1953 to the late Paul and Eleanor (née Wright).

She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from Gwynedd Mercy University and went on to earn her Master’s degree from Villanova. Joyce worked as a school guidance counselor in the Hatboro-Horsham School District where she was compassionate and dedicated to assisting students to overcome challenges in their lives.

Joyce loved spending time with her niece, Kelsey. Kelsey always looked forward to being spoiled by “Aunt Joyce”.

She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Norris; sister-in-law, Christine Norris; and a niece, Kelsey Norris.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Joyce will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home located at 145 Tennis Ave, Ambler, PA 19002. Family and friends may call beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ivy Hill Cemetery.
