Linn Noah

September 20, 1937 — March 26, 2025

Linn Noah, a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and respected marketing executive, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025 in Ambler, PA. He was 87 years old.

Linn was an avid golfer, sharing a deep love for the game with his late wife, Carolyn Noah. The couple married in 1973 and built a beautiful life together, filled with love and shared adventures. Whether enjoying a round of golf at their favorite courses, making wine to share with friends and family, relaxing in Hilton Head, or spending time with family, Linn embraced life to the fullest.

A proud graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Linn built a distinguished career in marketing, holding leadership roles at Fisher Scientific, Koppers, and PPG, where he played pivotal roles in branding and market growth in the materials, chemicals, and glass industries. His expertise in corporate marketing and business development earned him great respect among his colleagues and the Pittsburgh marketing community.

A longtime resident of Pittsburgh, Linn was raised in Brookline and lived in the communities of Shadyside and Treesdale for most of his life before relocating to Montgomery County, PA in 2020, where he continued to proudly wear his Steelers gear in the heart of Eagles Country and where he developed a love for his grand dogs Bachelor and Coco.. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn, in 2018, as well as by his parents, C. Dale Noah and Francis Noah.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Bennett, and her husband, Dick; his son, Chris Noah, and his wife, Kathy; and his grandchildren, Derek Noah (wife, Kelly Noah), Justin Noah (fiancée, Sophie Masenga), and Zack Noah. He also leaves behind his great-grandson, Brendan Noah.

Linn is also survived by his sister, Kathy Tamilia, and her husband, Mark; his brother, Chuck Noah; and his nephew, Matthew Tamilia, (wife, Haley Tamilia).

A private celebration of life will be held for Linn at a future date.
