Before her marriage, Marion was employed at the Bell Telephone Company in Philadelphia. After her children were school age, she was an assistant cook at Wissahickon Senior High School. She retired in 1981. Marion was a lifelong summer resident of Ocean City, NJ. She opened her home to many of her friends as well as those of her children. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her three brothers, Wallace, William, and Norman, and most of her friends.
