MaryPat Siess, at the age of 30, victoriously won her battle with cancer and entered the Kingdom of Heaven on October 28th, 2019 with her family by her side. MaryPat was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 28th, 1989 to the parents of Ms. Leigh Griffith and Mr. Robert Siess. MaryPat was diagnosed with Leukemia at the young age of 6, but nothing could stop her from fighting like a warrior. MaryPat was a graduate of Upper Dublin High School, followed by Gwynedd Mercy College where she succeeded with honors. MaryPat had the most contagious smile, even while fighting her illness for so many years. She enjoyed baking for any occasion (she had that special touch), spending time with her cats and dogs, and becoming well versed in her movie trivia. Her most treasured time was when she was surrounded by her brothers who always knew how to make her laugh, however the last 3 years her niece, Reagan, stole her heart. MaryPat was selfless and always put others before herself. She endured many tough days of battling cancer and was always able to smile through it all, never the slightest complaint. Our time with her was short but rich and full of love, laughter and life. MaryPat was a survivor, warrior and fighter with the best and brightest spirit. Her selflessness, kindness, compassion for others and caring heart will be greatly missed by all.
Marypat is survived by mother Leigh Griffith, father Robert Siess, brother Robert Siess Jr (Amanda), niece Reagan and brother Ryan Siess. She is predeceased by grandparents William and Mary Siess, survived by grandparents Robert and Patricia Griffith. MaryPat has numerous extended family members on both sides of her family and was loved tremendously by all. MaryPat's parents invite all family and friends to attend mass at 10am Thursday, 10/31, in Saint Alphonsus Catholic Church, 33 Conwell Drive, Maple Glen PA. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery of West Conshohocken and a lunch celebration of her life at Flourtown Country Club. Family would also like to thank all who gave to the GoFundMe page in Marypat's honor. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (Oncology) in MaryPat's memory
