Michael J. Skubisz

Michael J. Skubisz of Lansdale, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 5, 1937 to the late Michael and Katherine (née Goch) Skubisz. He was a graduate of Dobbins Technical School. He went on to honorably serve in the United States Marine Corps.

He married Maria (née Godlewska) Skubisz in 2003.

Michael worked as an engineering technician at Naval Supply and was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.

Michael is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Maria Skubisz; three “Bonus” children, Christopher Szymanski, Victoria (Ernie) Racz, and Barbra Szymanski; eight grand-children, Kaz, Justyna, Evelyn, George, Julian, Natalia, Daniel, and Colson; one sister, Jean (Vincent) Poole; and beloved nieces and nephews, Diane (Glenn) Brumbaugh, Michael (Tracey) Poole, Kenneth (Maryann) Poole, Susan (Jeff) Hammaker, and Linda (Chris) Wolf.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Casseli; niece Debbie (Ed) Vernier; nephew, Timothy (Mary Beth) Poole, as well as a great-nephew, Ryan Brumbaugh.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church located at 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael's name may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
