Muriel Resh

Muriel G. Resh of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania passed away on October 1, 2023 at Fort Washington Estates at the age of 98.

Born on April 29, 1925 in Yonkers, New York to the late Edward and Mabel (née Roper) Newbrand. She was the wife of the late Herman C. Resh.

Muriel worked as an executive secretary for 18 years for the American Can Company.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ambler. While living in New York she was also a member of the USO. She was a true animal lover and was a founder of the Animal Welfare League of Westchester County. She was also a member of the Senior Citizens of Bronxville.

Services and interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, doantions in Muriel’s name may be made to the Animal Welfare League of Westchester County, 54 Stratton Road, New Rochelle, NY, 10804.
