Nancy Bibler Gold of Lower Gwynedd, PA passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023, after a valiant battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She was 77. She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Lawrence, her brother Glen, and parents Walter Glen and Grace Coppock Bibler. She is survived by her step-daughters, Robyn Gold and husband Brett Peruzzi, Tandy Camilli and husband Dan, her brother George Bibler and wife Virginia, nephews Jared Bibler, Lyle Bibler and wife Angela, grand-nieces Anna and Maitreya, and grand-daughter Michela Rosenblum and husband Zach.
Nancy was born and raised in Chicago. She graduated from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana before relocating to Eastern Pennsylvania, where she met Larry, the love of her life. Nancy worked as the Director of Admissions at the Foulkeways retirement community, where she was known for her warm and welcoming demeanor. Upon retirement, Nancy volunteered as an ESL instructor serving the local Korean community, where she made many friends.
A devoted Quaker, Nancy attended Upper Dublin Friends Meeting and volunteered in many church-sponsored activities. She loved gardening and travel, was an avid birder, and shared her home with a succession of much loved and lucky cats. Nancy was a founding member and Board member of the Ambler Station Singers, where her clear soprano uplifted many listeners.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Friends Service Committee, Natural Resources Defense Council, or American Rivers would be greatly appreciated by the family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Upper Dublin Meetinghouse located at 1506 Fort Washington Ave, Maple Glen, PA 19002. Following the service, details for a luncheon to follow will be announced.
