Richard M Parker

Richard (Dick) M. Parker, age 83, of Ambler, PA, passed away on August 15, 2015, at Abington Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late William B. and Naomi (nee Lodge) Parker. He graduated from Peirce Junior College in 1952. He was retired from Continental Bank, where he worked for 41 years, ending his career as Executive Vice President. He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. (nee Baumann), his son, Richard W. (Judy) of East Norriton, PA. His is survived by his brother & sisters, William B. Jr. (Bobbie), Ruth Geen, Mimi (Munn) Steelman, and was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph & brother-in-law, William Geen. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jennifer Elenback (Mark), Daniel, Jenna Augustine, and his great-grandchildren, Addison Elenback & Lorelei Jank. He was a devoted Husband, Father, and Pop-Pop. He loved his family, enjoyed going to the shore, and being on the Board of Ambler Main Street. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service Thursday, August 20, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church, 4 S Ridge, Ambler PA 19002 at 10am. There will be a visitation on Wednesday Evening at Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home, 145 Tennis Ave, Ambler from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. On Thursday, friends may call at the church after 9:30.
