Richard C. Seestedt Sr. of Horsham, PA passed away on September 17, 2017 at his home. He was 83. Dick was born in Pontiac, MI on December 22, 1933. He attended Columbia Military Academy and studied engineering at Xavier University. He served in the US Navy from 1956 to 1958. Dick was a career medical salesman, having worked as Eastern Regional Manager for Everest & Jennings and Mid-Atlantic Division Manager for Stryker Corp. before founding his own manufacturing and distribution company, A-Line Medical Products in 1977. He also served on the President's Blue Ribbon Council For Aid and Employment of the Handicapped from 1969 - 1972. He was a talented woodworker. In his garage workshop, Dick built cabinetry for his home and one-of-a-kind toys for his children. He spent decades creating an elaborate model railroad in his basement, which he loved to run for his grandchildren. Dick is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan; his brother, Theodore (Carol); five children, Richard Jr. (Lisa), Eric (Diana), Andrew (Megan), Katelyn (Justin) and Christopher; and six grandchildren, Trevor, Lily, Sawyer, Leah, Josephine, Cecelia, with a seventh on the way. There will be a memorial service on Saturday October 14, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church of Ambler, 4 S Ridge Ave, Ambler PA, 19002 at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Dick's name to the American Cancer Society.
