Robert Elmer Wise

Robert Elmer Wise of Horsham, Pennsylvania died on November 29, 2018 at Arden Courts of Warminster at the age of 77. He was born in Albany, NY on July 22, 1941 son of Arnold and Madeline (Nee Tietjen) Wise. He graduated from Albany High School and Oklahoma State University and was employed as a Certified Fire Protection Specialist. He worked for CIGNA and PMA throughout his career. Bob proudly served in the United States Navy, Lt. JG July 1963 - January 1967 aboard the USS Diamond Head during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Oreland Presbyterian Evangelical Church, achieved Eagle Scout, a 30 year coach and volunteer with the Special Olympics and Coached Team USA in World Games Austria. Bob also volunteered with the Red Cross and was a lifetime member, and past Fire Police Captain, of the Fort Washington Fire Company. Bob is survived by his wife Nancy Madeline (Nee Renk) and his children Cathryn J Wise of Phoenix Az., Robert J Wise of Charlotte, NC, Scott D Renk of Horsham, PA, Laura Renk Reeder of Parkersburg, PA and his grandchildren Daniel, Sara, Elizabeth, Joseph, Ashlyn and Carsyn and one great grandchild Hayden. A memorial service officiated by Timothy S Ricci will be held on Saturday December 15, 2018 at Oreland Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 1119 Church Rd, Oreland PA, 19075.
